There are two main ways to grant access to Copilot in an enterprise:

  • Assign licenses directly to users or teams in the enterprise. This approach simplifies license management at scale and provides the option of granting Copilot licenses to users who don't consume a GitHub Enterprise license. This approach is currently only available for Copilot Business licenses.
  • Enable Copilot for organizations. This approach allows you to choose Copilot Business or Copilot Enterprise for individual organizations and give organization owners control to grant licenses to the users who need them most.

Copilot Business ライセンスを、ユーザーまたは Enterprise チームに直接割り当てることができます。

ライセンスを Enterprise チームに割り当てると、ユーザーは、チームに追加されると Copilot にアクセスできるようになり、チームから削除されるとアクセスできなくなります。 Enterprise Managed Users をお使いの場合は、チームと ID プロバイダー (IdP) グループを同期して、IdP からライセンスを管理できます。

前提条件

  • [Policies for enterprise-assigned users] ポリシーを設定して、他の Enterprise ポリシーが [No policy] に設定されているときの、これらのユーザーに対する既定の設定を定義します。 「企業内の Copilot のポリシーと機能を管理する」を参照してください。

ライセンスの割り当て

  1. GitHub の右上隅にあるプロフィール画像をクリックします。

  2. ご自分の環境に応じて、[Your enterprise] または [Your enterprises] をクリックし、表示するエンタープライズをクリックします。

  3. ページの上部にある [ Billing and licensing] をクリックします。

  4. 左側のサイドバーで [Licensing] をクリックします。

  5. [Copilot] の横にある [Manage] をクリックします。

  6. [Users] または [Enterprise Teams] タブをクリックします。

  7. [Assign Licenses] をクリックします。

  8. ユーザーまたはチームを検索し、[Add licenses] をクリックします。

Organization での Copilot の有効化

Enterprise で Copilot Enterprise プランをお使いの場合、Copilot Enterprise または Copilot Business のライセンスを割り当てることができます。

  1. Go to the access management page for your enterprise. Temporarily, the location of this page varies depending on whether your enterprise has been migrated to the new UI for direct Copilot licensing.

    • First, try https://github.com/enterprises/YOUR-ENTERPRISE/enterprise_licensing/copilot, replacing YOUR-ENTERPRISE with your enterprise's slug.

    • If you receive a 404 error, go to https://github.com/enterprises/YOUR-ENTERPRISE/settings/copilot.

    If you use データ所在地付き GitHub Enterprise Cloud, replace github.com with SUBDOMAIN.ghe.com.

  2. [Organization access] のドロップダウン メニューを見つけて、すべての organization で Copilot を有効にするか、特定の organization に対して許可するかを選びます。

  3. [特定の Organization に対して許可] を選択した場合:

    1. Organization の一覧がまだ表示されていない場合は、[ Organizations] タブをクリックします。
    2. Copilot を有効にする organization を見つけます。
    3. Organization 名の右側にある [Copilot] ドロップダウン メニューを選びます。
      • Enterprise で Copilot Business プランをお使いの場合は、[Enabled] をクリックします。
      • Enterprise で Copilot Enterprise プランをお使いの場合は、[Copilot: Enterprise] または [Copilot: Business] をクリックして、特定の Copilot プランを organization に割り当てます。
