Blocking GitHub Copilot cloud agent in your enterprise

Disable use of Copilot cloud agent for all users and repositories.

Who can use this feature?

Enterprise owners and AI managers

Most Copilot policies, including "Enable Copilot cloud agent", only affect users who receive a Copilot license from your enterprise or organizations.

If you want to disable Copilot cloud agent in repositories completely, including for users who get access to Copilot from a personal plan or another enterprise, you can use the "Block Copilot cloud agent" policy.
