Removing yourself from an organization

If you're an outside collaborator or a member of an organization, you can leave the organization at any time.

If you're currently responsible for paying for GitHub in your organization, removing yourself from the organization does not update the billing information on file for the organization. If you are currently responsible for billing, you must have another owner or billing manager for the organization update the organization's payment method.

  1. 在 GitHub 任意页面的右上角，单击个人资料照片，然后单击 “设置”****。
  2. 在边栏的“访问”部分中，单击“ 组织”。
  3. Under "Organizations", next to the organization you'd like to remove yourself from, click Leave.
