Deleting a team

Organization owners can delete teams at any time from the team's settings page.

Tip: Only organization owners can delete parent teams. For more information, see "About teams."

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub Enterprise Server, click your profile photo, then click Your organizations. Your organizations in the profile menu

  2. Click the name of your organization. Organization name in list of organizations

  3. Under your organization name, click Teams.

  4. Select the team or teams you'd like to delete. List of teams with two teams selected

  5. Above the list of teams, use the drop-down menu and click Delete. Drop-down menu with option to change team visibility
