Vous pouvez utiliser l’API REST pour mettre en favori (signet) un référentiel. Les étoiles apparaissent en regard des dépôt pour indiquer un niveau approximatif d’intérêt. Les étoiles n’ont aucun effet sur les notifications ou le flux d’activité. Pour plus d’informations, consultez « Enregistrement de dépôts avec des étoiles ».

Étoiles ou surveillance

En août 2012, nous avons changé la façon dont fonctionne la surveillance sur GitHub. Certaines applications clientes d’API peuvent toujours utiliser les points de terminaison « surveillance » d’origine pour accéder à ces données. Vous devriez plutôt utiliser les points de terminaison « étoile » à partir de maintenant (décrits ci-dessous). Dans les réponses de l’API REST, watchers, watchers_count et stargazers_count correspondent au nombre d’utilisateurs qui ont ajouté une étoile à un dépôt, tandis que subscribers_count correspond au nombre de surveillants.
