On GitHub, navigate to the main page of the repository.

Under your repository name, click Settings. If you cannot see the "Settings" tab, select the dropdown menu, then click Settings.

Under Features, deselect Restrict editing to collaborators only.
This version of GitHub Enterprise Server will be discontinued on 2026-08-25. Discontinued releases are not supported. No patch releases will be made, even for critical security issues. Changing access permissions for wikis
Only repository collaborators can edit a public repository's wiki by default, but you can allow anyone with an account on your GitHub Enterprise Server instance to edit your wiki.
