On GitHub, navigate to the main page of the repository.

Under your repository name, click Issues.  
- 
In the list of issues, click the issue you'd like to close. 
- 
Optionally, to change your reason for closing the issue, next to "Close issue," select , then click a reason.  
- 
Click Close issue.
