Acerca de la estrella

Puedes usar la API REST para marcar con una estrella (marcador) un repositorio. Las estrellas se muestran junto a los repositorios para denotar un nivel aproximado de interés. Las estrellas no tienen efecto alguno en las notificaciones ni en el feed de actividad. Para más información, consulta Guardar repositorios marcados con estrellas.

Marcar con estrella frente a inspeccionar

En agosto de 2012, cambiamos el funcionamiento de la inspección en GitHub. Es posible que algunas aplicaciones cliente de la API sigan usando los puntos de conexión de "inspección" originales para acceder a estos datos. Ahora deberías usar los puntos de conexión de "estrella" como sustitución (como se describe más adelante). En las respuestas de la API de REST, watchers, watchers_count y stargazers_count corresponden al número de usuarios que han marcado con estrella un repositorio, mientras que subscribers_count corresponde al número de inspectores.

Lists the people that have starred the repository.
